Carol Benevy is a grateful person in recovery who has a deep love for her community in Ocean County, New Jersey. After working on the disaster responses for Hurricane Sandy and later the COVID-19 pandemic, Carol became a volunteer with SeaChange as a facilitator for the online support groups. Carol loves to include music and humor, and lots of recovery tools in her groups. When she's not working or volunteering, Carol enjoys our beautiful Ocean County beaches and boardwalks, listening to live music, and spending time with her feline co-facilitators River and Journey.
