100 waves 4 recovery

changing lives, one wave at a time

Our annual event to raise funds to support Sea Change!

Our goal is to save lives and to de-stigmatize and end the devastating addiction and overdose crisis.

The 4th Annual 100 Waves 4 Recovery is not just a summertime event; it's a community effort to reduce the negative consequences associated with addiction, address the consequences of the opioid crisis, eliminate the stigma surrounding substance use disorders, and provide tools, resources, and support to individuals and the community to save lives.

Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, we encourage individuals and teams to surf, windsurf, kite surf, stand-up paddle, kneeboard, bodyboard, or lie on the shoreline and let the waves crash over you to help us raise $50,000 this summer to support addiction recovery and address the consequences of the opioid crisis in our community.

  1. Create a 100 Waves 4 Recovery fundraising page. You can sign up as an individual, join a team, create a team, or donate. Once your fundraising page is created, share it through your social media platforms, email lists, and word-of-mouth.

  2. Set a fundraising goal and pledge to catch up to 100 Waves this summer (Memorial Day through Labor Day). Raise or donate a minimum of $100 and get an event-exclusive t-shirt!

  3. Catch 100 waves surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing, stand-up paddle boarding, kneeboarding, bodyboarding, or rafting. Or join us on 100 Waves Day on August 4 and catch them all at once!

  4. Join us for the 100 Waves Day event on August 4 to celebrate 100 Waves for Recovery. We are inviting everyone to join us for beach fun and festivities.

  5. Most importantly, have fun!
